I was worth it.
I swear to God, I was worth the fight, and you were a fool to let me go. You let go the only girl that will ever truly love you.
I’m not talking about the ordinary love a woman can feel for her husband. I’m talking about the once-in-a-lifetime love that only comes once in a lifetime.
This love was worth fighting for, because I am sure that you will never find this kind of love again. We only have one chance to find true love and you have missed yours.
Someday you’ll find someone who loves you again, but trust me, you’ll never find someone who loves you like I do.
Don’t get me wrong. You know me best. You know there’s no hard feelings. I really hope you’re happy. I’d really like you to find someone who loves you for who you are.
My intention was not to toy with you. I just wanted to distance myself to see how strong our love was and if you were honest when you said you would love me for the rest of our lives.
I still don’t understand how you could say you love me over and over again if you didn’t feel that way. And you actually said it, like, a million times.
How could you look me in the eye and lie? It means you lied to my face every day.
I know that was my fault. I should never have put our love to the test. I was wrong to think it was so strong that it could pass any test.
You led me to believe our bond was so strong that it would endure anything that happened to us. I honestly believed that our love would survive the test of time.
Remember how we used to say, “You and I, till the end”?
Ha-ha, actually that’s funny now. You promised and swore eternal love for so long, but as soon as hard times came, you gave up and left immediately.
Was it because of your male pride or your ego? You just couldn’t afford to be vulnerable or weak for a woman, could you?
I will never understand how it is more important to keep your ego under control than to keep the woman you love, your soul mate, in your life.
Were you afraid of what your friends would say? Maybe you were afraid that they would make fun of you if you showed how weak you are about the woman you love?
If that’s the case, I’m glad you gave us up. Now you can have your friends, and I’ll be here, standing by and watching them stab you in the back one by one.
There’s nothing more important than love in this world, and you, my dear, are going to find that out the hard way.
You’ll understand one day when you’re all alone. When all those false friends have betrayed you. When you have shattered your own precious ego.
You’ll see that I was right to call you a fool in that letter. Then you will admit it yourself. You were a fool to give up love, us.
You were a fool for refusing to fight for our happy ending. You turned our little love story into my worst nightmare.
I have to admit, I didn’t feel good for a while. Damn, I was a mess. But now I’m back. Fully recovered and ready for some new battles in my life.
I went through a deep depression. It was so hard to accept that the man I loved more than I had ever loved myself or anybody else, would not even try to fight for our love, for me.
But I realized that I had to break out of this depression.
I had to accept everything that had happened and consider it a huge life lesson that God had sent me to warn me that you were not so honest with your feelings and that you did not love me as much as I loved you.
I know I was worth the fight. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but one day you will realize it, only then it will be too late. Then you’ll have pangs of conscience for the rest of your life.
